The outdoor lamp is made from rolled, folded and welded steel (the shade would be pressed if produced commercially.) The lamp is ideal for informal al fresco dining. The serving platter is made from oak stained with linseed oil.
The rechargeable bulb by Ginko is made up of 30 low heat LEDs.
The bulb lasts up to 5 hours, can be charged using a standard plug socket and can be used while connected to mains supply.
The luminescent flex cable is easily seen in low light. Designed to flat pack, the lamp would only need minor tweaks to go in to production.
